Spring is here and that means Mule Day in Columbia, TN. It also means time for a new show opening at W7thCo Vintage Photo Gallery (oh, yeah). We will be open additional days and hours too and we invite you to the opening night party Thursday, April 5, 5 p.m to 8 p.m. There’ll be wine, food and photos! We’re happy to say that we’ll have a few bottles of Amber Falls Winery, Polk vintages for the evening. So, if you’re in town for Mule Day, drop in, catch the new show and have a glass with us.
Our first show was quite broad to show the range of photos in the Orman Collection. However, this quarter we have a more focused display of Mule Day photos from as early as 1934 as well as mules, a Mule Queen and several more wonderful images from Columbia’s past. We’ve been hard at work picking out all the photos, getting the prints just right and having them framed. It won’t be long before we take down the current show and tackle the task of laying out the Spring quarter show. Very exciting.
What will happen to all the photos from the current show? Well, they will be in our racks and tables for you to browse or buy if you wish. However, if you have not seen the current show, you better get in here this weekend before it’s gone. Remember, you can always browse them on our gallery site and all the photos there can be purchased in 3 different size prints.
